Job summary

San Andreas Regional Center is hiring an Early Start Service Coordinator to coordinate and facilitate services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. The role involves working closely with families and professionals to ensure timely, evidence-based interventions that promote growth and independence.

You will conduct home visits, develop IFSPs, and coordinate across providers while supporting families in understanding options, planning next steps, and advocating for needed services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field; required.
• Knowledge of social work principles and client advocacy.
• Ability to prepare and present oral and written reports; maintain case records.
• Strong communication with families, colleagues, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IFSPs with families and professionals.
• Conduct home visits and child/family assessments.
• Facilitate communication among service providers to support child development.
• Develop and monitor IFSPs; determine eligibility transition at age 3.
• Promote parent advocacy and inform families about services.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately.
