Creative Dining Services is hiring a Cook for the St. Louis Catholic School kitchen in Memphis, TN. The position is full-time, first shift (6am–3pm, Mon–Fri; schedule may vary with school and breaks).

You will prepare meals to recipes, supervise portions, and ensure safe food handling in a fast-paced dining services environment. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of cooking experience, a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years cooking experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• ServSafe Certification preferred

Aufgaben

• Time food production so meals are ready at service time
• Prepare food according to established recipes and menus
• Utilize batch cooking to avoid over/under production
• Follow safe food handling at all times
• Label, date and store food items correctly
• Maintain logs of temperatures and temperatures in coolers/freezers
• Keep a clean, sanitized work area
• Assist with ordering and inventory as needed
• Open/close kitchen as required by shift
