Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Cook for MICDS in Saint Louis, MO. The role involves preparing meals to standard recipes, ensuring proper portions, temperatures and timely delivery in a high-volume, corporate dining environment.

The position requires adherence to HACCP food safety standards, maintaining cleanliness, and working with a team across a structured schedule (Mon–Fri, 6:30 am–3:00 pm) with occasional weekends for events. Paid holidays and meals are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations.
• Experience in corporate dining environment preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery with proper portioning and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures in storage and prep areas.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering, receiving and inventory of food and supplies.
• Follows company policies and safety procedures at all times.
