Pratt Industries in Cedar Hill, TX is hiring for a General Utility – 1st Shift to support production with emphasis on safety and quality. You will participate in machine setup, operation, cleanup, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment while striving for efficiency and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed (Training Provided).
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with standard software.
• Ability to learn manufacturing principles and practices.
• Performing basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Safety, quality, and continuous improvement focus in daily work.
• Maintain equipment and production area cleanliness.
• Provide leadership in training and assisting team members.
• Participate in meeting production schedules and resolve challenges proactively.
• Operate or learn to operate a variety of machinery including forklifts.
• Document operational data and report progress; assist with troubleshooting.
