Job summary

Pratt Industries in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a General Utility to support production machinery through setup, operation, cleanup, and troubleshooting with a strong focus on safety and quality. You will help maintain equipment and production area cleanliness while contributing to continuous improvement.

This fast-paced role runs Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:00pm. Pratt Industries offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and advancement as part of a large American paper

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Operator forklifts and other equipment as needed (Training Provided).
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste.
• Basic PC Skills.
• Ability to learn manufacturing principles and practices.
• Performing basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: You must adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect products and materials to meet quality standards and report concerns.
