Job summary

Vistar in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a warehouse associate to select cases and other containers from multi-level racks, place them on pallets, and move orders to the loading dock for shipment. This is a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start, first shift role that lasts until daily work is completed.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and 6–12 months of warehouse experience, and can lift 10–80 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack 10–80 pounds occasionally (up to 80).
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and operate along assigned racks to locate products.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock staging area and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards in daily operations.
