Job summary

Performance Food Group (Vistar) is hiring a warehouse associate for 1st shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will select cases from multi-level racks, place items on pallets, and move shipments with an electric pallet jack or forklift, ensuring safety and quality. Hours are Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start; overtime as needed.

Salary is $20.00–$21.25/hr incl $1.25 freezer differential, plus incentive pay. Day 1 benefits, and growth opportunities are offered; must lift 10–80 lbs and work in cooler/freezer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 10-80 lbs repeatedly and operate in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Review schedule and prepare supplies; perform safety checks on pallets and equipment.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards for location and company guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallet jacks along multi-level racks; locate products per order sheets.
• Place stock on pallets from pick slots and racks; use single/double pallets as directed.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; wrap pallets if needed.
• Perform end-of-shift equipment check and complete paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
