Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a dependable team member to operate equipment used for moving packages and documents, including heavyweight freight and dangerous goods. You will assist with pallet buildup/breakdown and coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level, walk/stand for long periods, and possess a valid driver’s license. This is a full‑time on-site role at the Newark, NJ location.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Capable of bending and squatting for extended periods.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders when required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight and dangerous goods.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
