Job summary

Kohl's is hiring an Associate to help keep the store clean and safe, performing daily cleaning tasks and supporting operations to provide an excellent customer experience.

Starting pay is $16.45 per hour with flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays; no retail experience required.

You will greet customers, follow safety guidelines, use approved chemicals and equipment, and collaborate with the store team to process product and fulfill orders.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multitask.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the store (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl's best practices and standards procedures.
• Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Maintain levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by placing orders to replenish when supplies are low, ensuring supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers.
• Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance.
• Routinely complete basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines.
• Effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate and share information with the store team.
• Support the operations team to receive and process product, execute stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment when needed.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Acting with integrity, honesty and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture.
• Exercising good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as needed.
• Demonstrating a customer service mindset, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues.
• Meeting or exceeding individual goals (e.g., productivity, credit, loyalty).
• Accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Following company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
