JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to enhance the customer experience by performing essential store operations. This early morning role works with a team to complete tasks before the store opens.

Key duties include assisting customers across the sales floor, updating prices, replenishing stock, unloading merchandise, and supporting omnichannel initiatives. A 1–2 year retail background and a proactive mindset are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years retail experience.
• Proactive approach to customer service and speed.
• Ability to maneuver around store and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers throughout the store.
• Execute pricing updates and sign merchandise quickly and accurately.
• Restock and replenish merchandise to ensure availability of styles and sizes.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prep for floor.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom standards.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, etc.).
• Help implement merchandise strategy as directed by leadership.
• Engage in a learning environment to absorb new processes.
