Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Midvale, UT is hiring a Retail Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and operate checkout with standard cash handling. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, perform planograms, and keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You will promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, help with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, and participate in safety programs. Nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers and locate products.
• Handle checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Unload trucks, stock, and maintain planograms to keep store in stock.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, enroll customers.
• Support Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Follow SOPs, safety programs, and company policies.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
