Elephants Delicatessen in Portland, OR seeks a skilled Production Baker for our Central Kitchen. You’ll bake breads, pastries, and desserts at scale, while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. Remote work is not available; early morning schedules are common to meet daily output.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in bakery, pastry, or commercial kitchen production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and presentation.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, mix, scale, portion, shape, proof, bake, finish, decorate, package, and label a wide range of breads, pastries, and desserts.
• Prepare fillings, frostings, glazes, toppings, and other components.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment including mixers, proof boxes, rotating ovens, deck ovens, and dough dividers.
• Monitor product quality and adjust processes to maintain consistency and safety.
