Job summary

Too Sweet Cakes seeks a Production Baker to execute daily and weekly wholesale orders from our kitchen. You will prepare ingredients, assemble products, and follow essential production procedures to deliver high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of baking experience and a Food Handler's Certificate. Open mornings and full-time hours with benefits eligibility after 60 days, supporting a growing local bakery with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of baking or pastry experience preferred.
• Food Handler's Certificate required.
• A strong interest in high-quality baked goods and the food industry.
• Excellent ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with the Back of House Manager during all shifts.
• Adhere to recipes, procedures, and guides including weights and measures and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining high quality.
• Keep a sanitary, organized work environment at all times.
• Monitor storage and shelf life for all products.
• Follow health and safety regulations and cleanliness requirements.
• Use kitchen tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Monitor baking processes to meet quality standards and adjust as needed.
• Approach tasks with urgency to meet daily, weekly, and long-term goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Back of House Manager.
