Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a warehouse associate to operate equipment safely for moving packages and heavy freight. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown, and coordinate with an ULD repair vendor when required. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated work hours; bend and squat as needed.
• Move packages in enclosed spaces and stack overhead when required.
• Work in all weather conditions; climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Complete basic and recurring training; communicate in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight and related items.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
