Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Irving, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. You will assist in pallet buildup and breakdown and liaise with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

The role requires physical capability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level, walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs or ladders, and perform training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Must be able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Must communicate timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
