Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in the United States (Michigan) seeks an on-site operations role to safely operate equipment moving packages and weighty freight. You will assist pallet buildup and breakdown and liaise with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Requirements include lifting 50 lbs, walking/standing, weather readiness, and a valid driver’s license. A drug screen is required; base pay starts at the stated rate with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder height.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders when required.
• Must complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Ability to communicate in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
