Job summary

FedEx in Hawaii seeks a Material Handler to operate equipment safely for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight and ULDs. You will assist in building and breaking down pallets and act as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe work practices in all weather, walking and standing for long periods, and using equipment to move heavy loads. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat and maneuver heavy loads daily.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and environments.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment for movement of packages and heavyweight freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
