Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time role in Kahului, Hawaii. The position involves operating equipment safely to move packages and heavy freight, and assisting with pallet buildup/breakdown.

You may liaise with a ULD repair vendor as needed and perform other duties as assigned. Ideal candidates can lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for long hours, and work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight freight and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
