Aubergine Kitchen in Draper, UT is seeking a Kitchen — Prep Area team member for early shifts with 30–40 hours weekly, including weekends. The role involves ingredient prep, strict portioning, and food safety duties in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include labeling, FIFO organization, and clear communication with the General Manager. Requires Food Handler training within 14 days; prior restaurant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• Fast pace with repetitive tasks; follow instructions carefully.
• Age 21 or older; prior restaurant/kitchen experience preferred.
• Complete Aubergine onboarding; Food Handler Certificate within 14 days (company supports).
• Available 30–40 hours/week including weekends/holidays.
• Able to stand/move for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; work around heat, steam, cold.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, sauces, and dressings per instructions and recipes; wash, peel, chop, slice precisely.
• Follow portioning guidelines to ensure consistent flavor and presentation.
• Organize and rotate items using FIFO; label with date and name.
• Keep workstation clean and compliant with food safety standards.
• Inform manager of unclear or unavailable ingredients or instructions.
