Job summary

AUBERGINE KITCHEN in Draper, UT is seeking a Cook for night shifts from 4pm to 10pm, with weekend work and Sundays closed. This full-time role offers $17-18/hour and opportunities to grow in a busy kitchen.

You will prepare dinner production, monitor temperatures, and ensure food safety and closing procedures are followed. Must be 21+, have kitchen experience, and obtain a Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• Ability to stay calm during peak hours and maintain standards to end of service.
• 21+ with prior kitchen/restaurant experience.
• Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).
• Available 30–40 hrs/week including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare protein batches for dinner service based on projected sales and par levels.
• Measure and record food temperatures during cooking, cooling, and reheating per safety procedures.
• Rotate all items using FIFO; maintain food quality during closing.
• Ensure equipment and surfaces are cleaned and organized by end of shift.
• Communicate with morning team with clear records and assist with closing duties.
