FedEx in Birmingham, AL, seeks a team member to operate equipment for moving packages and ensuring safe handling of heavyweight freight. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This is an early morning shift (Tue-Sat, 3:00 AM–8:00 AM) with pay rates around $17.89–$18.41 per hour. A valid driver's license is required; a drug screen and background check are part of the process.

Formación

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated work hours; bend and squat as required; climb stairs or ladders if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
