Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking personnel for early-morning shifts in Flint. You will operate equipment for moving packages and heavyweight freight, assist with pallet buildup and breakdown, and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This role requires physical stamina to lift and move heavy items, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using equipment or partner help.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, squat, and climb stairs or ladders as required in a noisy operations environment.
• Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
