Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring for Floor Tech positions in Hendersonville, TN. We offer full-time permanent roles starting at $19.00 per hour and a 5am–10am shift window.

You will perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, bonnet cleaning, and carpet care, with emphasis on safety and clean, welcoming spaces. Join a team that values reliability, respects diversity, and provides benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and chemical safety sheets.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
• Experience with janitorial equipment and chemicals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using proper equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects and follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized.
• Follow manufacturer specifications for chemicals and equipment usage.
• Ensure building doors and windows are secure.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs or safety hazards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate janitorial tools and equipment; experience preferred but not required.
