Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) in Covington, LA, is seeking a Floor Tech for full-time, permanent placement. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, with shift 4am–9am, performing duties in designated work areas as assigned at the start of each shift.

Qualifications

• One year of floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects following safety guidelines.
• Report to Supervisor needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring additional service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
