Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred
• Ability to lift/carry varying weights and operate dock equipment

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck as needed
• Verify documentation matches freight description and weight
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets or straps
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary
• Complete required documentation and reports
• Assist customers with freight and documentation as needed
• Perform hostling duties if required
• Adhere to laws, regulations and company policies
