Job summary

Matrana's Produce, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to manage daily delivery routes, convert customer orders into invoices, and coordinate loads from the warehouse.

You will serve as the primary contact for drivers, relay schedule changes, and ensure orders align with purchase orders throughout the day. The role requires 1+ year in dispatch or logistics coordination, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records under time pressure.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year dispatch/ logistics coordination/ order entry or high-volume customer service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat; accurate 10-key data entry; basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches delivery drivers and assigns daily route sequences based on order volume and priority.
• Enters customer orders into the order management system and meets daily cutoff times.
• Generates invoices, load sheets, labels, and shipping documents each morning.
• Reconciles inbound PO against invoices and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Communicates route changes and delays to drivers and customers as they occur.
• Answers inbound calls, takes orders, and resolves questions or escalates to Sales as needed.
• Documents product claims and supports credit processing with paperwork.
• Logs inbound POs from Purchasing and monitors driver check-in/out.
• Coordinates with Warehouse to ensure pulled orders match paperwork.
• Maintains dispatch and claims records per retention practices.
• Escalates service failures and safety concerns to Warehouse Manager.
• Supports daily reporting, scheduling, and admin tasks.
