Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking part-time caregivers to support clients in their own homes, assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship. This role offers flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle and higher needs during early mornings, after 4pm, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care to clients in hands-on environments (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting).
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Available to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities: meal prep, light housekeeping, errands.
• Provide physical assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings with transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

WE are seeking part-time caregivers to join our team working with clients 1 on 1 in their own homes, assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and companionship. We offer flexible scheduling to work around your lifestyle and prior commitments, our high needs are early morning, after 4pm, and weekends

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
