Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Rochester is seeking an Early Morning Breakfast Server to assist guests with breakfast service from 5:00am to 11:00am. You will deliver food and beverages with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include checking the breakfast buffet, taking orders, setting up and breaking down the service area, greeting guests, replenishing items, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and silverware.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to operate beverage and toast equipment.
• Standing for long periods (up to 5 hours).
• Must communicate and understand the predominant language of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Check breakfast buffet and dining space before, during and after shift for proper setup.
• Take guests' orders.
• Set up and tear down the breakfast buffet.
• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and take care of them.
• Replenish food on the buffet counter and beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the executive lounge.
• Clear and reset the tables after each use.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Maintain clean service areas.

Summary of Position

Service of food and/or beverage, delivery of any food and/or beverage item. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner - resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Check breakfast buffet and dining space before, during and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness.
