Job summary
Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, helping students build literacy and math skills by delivering proven activities and coaching. You’ll partner with a teacher to support talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing to foster confidence and love of learning.
The position runs 35 hours per week with daytime hours, Monday–Friday, holidays off, and options for part-time 25 or 15 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Dependable with a history of good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online tools).
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
- 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
- Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
- Track student progress and meet regularly with the onsite coach.
- Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
- Commit to growth through coaching and training.
- Share experience with the community.
