Job summary

Early Learning Corps, operated by Ampact, seeks an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in building literacy and numeracy. You’ll deliver proven activities, coach alongside a school-based mentor, and help children develop confidence through engaging learning experiences.

Positions run for the 2026-27 school year with full-time hours and a stipend via AmeriCorps. Training and ongoing coaching are provided as part of professional growth.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with email and basic computer use for daily tasks.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
