The Greater Philadelphia YMCA in Phoenixville, PA is seeking warm, dedicated teachers for our Phoenixville Early Learning Center. This full-time, hourly role offers $17.00-$18.00 per hour and opportunities to engage with the community and nurture young learners.

Qualifications

• Degree in education or human services as defined by state licensing
• 2+ years (2500 hours) childcare experience required

Responsibilities

• Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Being a role model by making a positive, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families
• Cultivating a sensitive, patient early learning environment for both children and families
• Planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered
• Supervising each child in your care by identifying, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, ensuring a safe environment
• Upholding YMCA, State and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for quality childcare
• Maintaining a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines
