We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants for our Toddler/Preschool Classroom at our Early Learning Center in Liberty, NY.

Pay and Schedule

• PAY: $15.50 per hour
• SCHEDULE: Varying hours between 6:30 am to 6:30 pm
• JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the needs and interests of children.
• Maintain communication with parents and family members via the Playground App to ensure transparency and engagement.
• Cultivate positive adult-child interactions using the CLASS method, fostering a supportive environment.
• Support the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• You are 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children under 13 is a plus but not required; we value potential and passion!
• You are medically fit, with a clean bill of health including no communicable diseases such as TB.
• You are warm, friendly, upbeat, professional, reliable, and punctual.
• You are physically capable of bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
