We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants at our Early Learning Center in Monticello, NY.

PAY: $15.50 per hour

SCHEDULE: Varies between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:30 pm

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children.
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App, ensuring transparency and engagement in their child's daily experiences.
• Cultivating positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.

Requirements

• You're 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is a plus, it's not mandatory. We value potential and passion!
• You’ve been cleared by your doctor and are medically fit to perform all job duties, including being free of communicable diseases like TB.
• You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat. Excellent people skills with children, parents, and colleagues are essential. Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality are a must.
• You are physically capable of bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., and doing whatever it takes to keep up with young children.
