Job summary

You will partner with the education team and the Director to translate in-service learnings into daily practice while ensuring compliance with licensing and program policies. You will develop onboarding plans, track progress in databases, and lead collaborative efforts to close talent gaps and elevate teaching quality for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of experience with 0-5 age groups in an education setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English.
• Knowledge of ECE practices, reflective practice, and coaching.
• Experience with DRDP, California frameworks, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and mentoring to STEP substitute teachers.
• Develop and implement ongoing professional development for staff.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and program policies.
• Onboard newly hired STEP substitute teachers.
• Observe classrooms and assess teaching practices and environments.
• Collaborate with HR, education staff and partner agencies on training needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage data in databases.
• Deliver STEP training, PLCs, and learning opportunities.
