Circle of Friends Child Development Center in Vallejo, CA is seeking a dedicated Mentor Teacher to ensure a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment while supporting and mentoring a team of educators. The role involves coordinating daily classroom operations, mentoring teachers, and conducting observations to guide best practices.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (teaching certification preferred) with at least 3 years of ECE leadership

Qualifications

• Degree in ECE or related field; teaching cert/licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in early childhood education with leadership track record.
• Experience mentoring/coaching ECE teachers.
• Strong knowledge of ECE principles, curriculum, best practices.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; CA driver's license & insurance.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; relationship-building.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with technology and software for ECE programs.
• Knowledge of ECE regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Able to work collaboratively and independently.
