Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta seeks a dedicated Floater to support high-quality early childhood education for children and families served by our programs in Atlanta. Under supervision, you will assist lead teachers, help implement curriculum goals, and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.

You will follow licensing requirements, participate in trainings, complete required documentation, and collaborate with families to promote readiness and positive development for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• First Aid/CPR & 10 hour Health & Safety Orientation (BFTS) within 30 days of hire and maintain the certification.
• CDA, TCC (preferred)
• Have experience working with children.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Must pass background check, BFTS, and drug test.
• TB screening and a Physical must be submitted before working.

• Support the delivery of a high-quality educational experience for children and families.
• Implement program goals and objectives as directed by leadership and licensing requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and documentation.
