Qualifications

• Minimum AAS in ECE required.
• AA with plan to obtain BA accepted; BA preferred.
• 3–5 years leadership experience in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Knowledge of WA Early Learning Guidelines and licensing policies.
• Ability to coach adults and apply adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Guide licensed child care providers through the WA State Early Achievers system to improve program quality.
• Provide culturally inclusive coaching and technical assistance in person, virtually, and via email.
• Help providers build capacity in early learning practices, self-assessments, and technology use.
• Use Practice-Based Coaching, CLASS, and ERS to assess and improve environments.
• Support providers in Quality Improvement Plans aligned with state standards.
• Deliver training and support for professional learning communities.
• Collaborate with providers to collect and use classroom data for continuous improvement.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and webinars aligned with Early Achievers goals.
• Connect families to high-quality child care through the Early Achievers program.
