Job summary

LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking an Early Learning Center Caregiver Aide to support infants and toddlers within a warm, stimulating learning environment.

The role requires English proficiency and the ability to implement age-appropriate activities aligned with Head Start/Early Learning Center standards. The aide will assist with classroom planning, meals, and parent involvement while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak and write proficiency in English.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED and obtain an Infant/Toddlers CDA within 1 year.
• First Aid and Infant/child CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NAEYC standards and Early Head Start curriculum.
• Assist in organizing classrooms by developmental levels and needs.
• Provide and monitor safe, sanitary learning environments and routines.
• Promote secure relationships and responsive caregiving with infants/toddlers.
• Assist in training parents and volunteers in activities.
• Substitute in classrooms as needed and maintain attendance records.
• Provide meals and snacks following CACFP guidelines and home schedules.
• Communicate with parents to support curriculum and learning at home.
• Maintain confidentiality of family information and program reports.
