Job summary
About Play, LLC in South Carolina is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to serve Goose Creek, Summerville, Moncks Corner and surrounding counties. Must reside in SC for consideration and bring passion for delivering quality care to children birth to six.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience with birth-to-six children; willingness for on-the-job training.
Qualifications
- Must reside in South Carolina for consideration.
- Minimum 1 year of documented experience with children birth to six.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Willingness for on-the-job training.
- Driver's License and reliable car.
Responsibilities
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.
- Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare, or natural environment.
- Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
- Monitor progress of the child and family.
