Thrive Behavioral Health in Harford County seeks a Therapist Aide to support a licensed clinician in the Early Intervention Program, delivering behavioral support in schools and homes to reduce challenging behaviors and help students succeed educationally.

Work involves in-school and in-home visits with young children, up to 40 hours weekly, with some evenings. Year-round, full-time role in multiple Maryland locations; pay is $23.93/hour plus benefits listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years implementing and monitoring behavioral/instructional programs for young students with autism, emotional disability or related behavior disorders.
• 2+ years of experience providing in-home services and understanding family systems and relational patterns.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be organized, flexible and able to demonstrate self-motivation and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual student support during school hours up to 4 hours per week per student as directed by the treatment plan.
• Provide caregiver/family support at home up to 3 hours weekly, including role-playing and collaboration with family.
• Not to exceed 40 hours per week and some evenings may be required.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to implement changes to the treatment plan as needed.
