Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health is seeking a Therapist Aide to support Montgomery County Public Schools. This full-time role operates in school settings and occasional home visits, under licensed clinician supervision, to help children succeed educationally.

The position requires experience with young children, collaboration with treatment teams, and flexibility to schedule evenings. Based in Silver Spring, MD, the role supports families and students across Montgomery County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Criminal background check required.
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to collaborate with treatment team and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual support to students during school hours (up to 4 hours per week per student) following the behavioral therapist’s plan.
• Provide ongoing support to caregiver/family in-home (up to 3 hours per week) including role-playing and modeling behaviors.
• Do not exceed 40 hours per week.
• Evening shifts may be required.
