  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent communication with the team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience with Early Intervention, healthcare staffing, provider recruitment, credentialing, or a related field is preferred.
  • NYC Early Intervention staffing or provider recruitment experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Staff Early Intervention cases by matching children with qualified providers based on discipline, location, schedule, language, and other case requirements.
  • Contact providers regarding available cases and follow up until cases are successfully staffed.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of provider availability, service areas, disciplines, languages, and scheduling preferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing providers to support ongoing staffing needs.
  • Recruit qualified Early Intervention providers, including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Instructors, Social Workers, and other professionals.
  • Screen prospective providers and coordinate interviews with agency leadership when appropriate.
  • Assist with provider credentialing and onboarding, including collection and tracking of required documents.
  • Monitor outstanding credentialing requirements and follow up with providers to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate staffing updates and unresolved staffing needs to agency leadership.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of staffing and recruitment activities.
  • Protect confidential child, family, and provider information and follow agency privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other staffing and credentialing-related duties as assigned.

Itsy Bitsy Inc, a New York State Department of Health approved Early Intervention provider serving families throughout New York City, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Early Intervention Staffing Coordinator to join our team.

The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for matching Early Intervention cases with qualified providers, maintaining ongoing communication with providers regarding availability, recruiting new providers, and assisting with provider credentialing and onboarding.

This is a fully remote position for a New York State resident. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable with frequent phone and email communication, and able to manage multiple staffing needs and priorities simultaneously.

Schedule and Compensation
  • Full-time, remote position
  • Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications and may be reviewed following successful completion of the training period.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
