Job summary

HDE Services LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our Gastonia, NC team. You will provide one-on-one therapy for children, employing play-based and functional interventions to support communication goals.

In this role, you will monitor progress, adjust strategies, and document outcomes with accuracy. Strong collaboration with families and the care team is essential, along with compliant documentation and scheduling coordination.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology assistant license.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with kids.
• Ability to deliver therapy services effectively in a child’s natural environment.
• Strong time management, organization, and independent clinical decision‑making skills.
• Clear, professional communication with families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one speech therapy services, with group sessions as clinically appropriate.
• Incorporate play-based, functional, and engaging interventions into therapy sessions.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment strategies, and document outcomes accurately and on time.
• Communicate regularly with caregivers and members of the child’s care team.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation aligned with payer and CDSA requirements, when applicable.
• Coordinate scheduling and maintain continuity of care with families and the All About Therapy administrative team.
