Requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, or sit on and get up from the floor to work closely with children.
  • Capability to lift and carry children or therapy equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Efficient mobility, including the ability to walk, run, and move independently to ensure effective engagement in therapeutic activities.
  • Adequate motor skills for activities such as handwriting, crafting, and using therapy tools.
  • Stamina to maintain active engagement in a high‑energy, child‑focused environment throughout the workday.
Professional Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Clinical Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Speech Language Pathology license in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Experience or interest in pediatric therapy, including working with conditions such as autism, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
