Job summary

Winning Communication is seeking a warm, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing practice as an independent contractor providing Illinois Early Intervention services to children birth to age 3 and their families.

As an independent contractor, you will build a flexible caseload, receive mentorship from an experienced pediatric SLP, and work in families' natural environments with child-centered coaching.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Illinois SLP license or eligibility.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Illinois EI credential, temporary credential, or willingness/eligibility to obtain EI credentialing.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for visits.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Warm, collaborative approach to working with young children and their caregivers.
• Previous Illinois Early Intervention experience preferred but not required.

Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist — Independent Contractor

Winning Communication is seeking a warm, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing practice as an independent contractor providing Illinois Early Intervention services to children birth to age 3 and their families.

This position is ideal for an SLP who wants the flexibility and autonomy to build a caseload that fits their life, while also having access to professional support and mentorship from an experienced pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist.

Compensation

$55-65 per completed 60-minute visit, based on Illinois Early Intervention credential status and experience.

• Temporary EI credential: $55 per completed 60-minute visit
• Full EI credential: $60 + commiserate on experience per completed 60-minute visit

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors determine their availability and build a caseload based on their preferred schedule and geographic service area.

Service Area

Winning Communication serves families within Illinois Early Intervention CFC 5 with the ability to increase to other CFCs in the Chicagoland area.

Services are provided primarily in children's natural environments, including homes and community settings like daycares.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Illinois Early Intervention credential, temporary credential, or willingness/eligibility to obtain EI credentialing
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for visits
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A warm, collaborative approach to working with young children and their caregivers

Previous Illinois Early Intervention experience is preferred but not required. SLPs who are interested in transitioning into Early Intervention and would benefit from mentorship and support are encouraged to apply.
