Job summary

Small Wonders Big Ideas Family Center is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers across Illinois as an Independent Contractor. You will set your own schedule, choose areas to work, and build a caseload that fits your lifestyle, while receiving referrals and agency support.

You will deliver individualized services in the child’s natural environment, collaborate with families, and maintain licensure and EI credentials.

Qualifications

• Hold current IL SLP license and EI credential or eligibility.
• Experience with infants and toddlers preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized speech and language services to infants and toddlers.
• Support communication, language, feeding, and developmental needs within your scope of practice.
• Use developmentally appropriate, play-based intervention strategies.
• Coach and collaborate with parents and caregivers.
• Provide services in the child's natural environment.
• Complete required clinical documentation timely.
• Participate in IFSP and team collaboration as required.
• Maintain Illinois licensure and EI credentials.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide Early Intervention services to infants and toddlers throughout Illinois as Independent Contractors.

What You'll Do

As an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

• Provide individualized speech and language services to infants and toddlers
• Support communication, language, feeding, and other developmental needs within your scope of practice
• Use developmentally appropriate, play-based intervention strategies
• Coach and collaborate with parents and caregivers
• Provide services in the child's natural environment
• Complete required clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in IFSP and team collaboration as required
• Maintain required Illinois licensure and Early Intervention credentials

What We're Looking For

• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Appropriate Illinois Early Intervention credential or eligibility
• Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred

Compensation

Starting rate: $46 per completed 60-minute session
