Job summary

Winning Communication is seeking a warm, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing practice as an independent contractor providing Illinois Early Intervention services to children birth to age 3 and their families.

As an independent contractor, you will build a flexible caseload, receive mentorship from an experienced pediatric SLP, and work in families' natural environments with child-centered coaching.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Illinois SLP license or eligibility.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Illinois EI credential, temporary credential, or willingness/eligibility to obtain EI credentialing.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for visits.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Warm, collaborative approach to working with young children and their caregivers.
• Previous Illinois Early Intervention experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Illinois EI services to infants, toddlers and families in natural environments.
• Build a flexible caseload around availability and geographic area.
• Work with mentor SLP and receive professional support.
• Develop skills in family-centered coaching and natural-environment intervention.
• Travel locally to homes and community settings as needed.
