Criterion Child Enrichment is hiring an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to serve children birth to 3 and their families across Massachusetts. This full-time role emphasizes a parent coaching model, home and community visits, and collaboration with a trans-disciplinary team.

Applicants hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, Massachusetts licensure, CCC or CFY, and prefer pediatric experience; bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Massachusetts Board of Registration licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required
• CCC (Clinical Competency Certificate) or CFY candidate encouraged
• Two years of pediatrics experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and teams
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital tools

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of infant-toddler development
• Utilize a parent coaching model with families
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center/home visits
• Provide home-based services across the catchment area
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services
• Coordinate development, monitoring and review of Individual Family Service Plans

About Us:

Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Criterion Child Enrichment has a variety of programs throughout the state that provide services to many towns in the following areas: Athol, Boston, Chicopee, Deerfield, Framingham, Franklin, Gardner, Holyoke, Medford, Milford, Northampton, Orange, Petersham, South Hadley, Stoneham, Worcester.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university.

Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate.

Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.

Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
