Criterion Child Enrichment seeks an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to support birth-to-3 children across multiple locations in Massachusetts. The role emphasizes parent coaching, home- and center-based services, and collaboration with a trans-disciplinary team.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in a related field and at least 300 practicum hours. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; bilingual applicants are encouraged.

About Us:

Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Criterion Child Enrichment has a variety of programs throughout the state that provide services to many towns in the following areas:

Athol, Boston, Chicopee, Deerfield, Framingham, Franklin, Gardner, Holyoke, Medford, Milford, Northampton, Orange, Petersham, South Hadley, Stoneham, Worcester.

Full Time, Part Time, and FFS Positions Available

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.

Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.

Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.

Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.

Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.

Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major or concentration in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.

300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five years of age.

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.

Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
