Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric services across the catchment area. You will work within a trans-disciplinary team, delivering home-based and center-based services, coordinating with families and child care providers to support the Individual Family Service Plan.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in MA.
• CCC or CFY candidate as eligible for CCC candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, groups, and home visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services across settings.
• Provide service coordination for the assigned caseload and develop/monitor IFS plan.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
• Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university.
• Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
